Free Consultations

We offer a free 20–30 minute phone consultation to help determine if our services feel like a good fit for your needs. During this call, we can answer questions about therapy, discuss what you're looking for, and help with scheduling if you decide to move forward.

Fees, Payment & Insurance Reimbursement

Creative Art Therapy Place, PLLC does not accept insurance, and clients pay for services out-of-pocket. However, some insurance plans offer out-of-network (OON) benefits, which may allow you to receive partial reimbursement for sessions.

Insurance providers that sometimes offer out-of-network reimbursement include (but are not limited to): Anthem BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, EmblemHealth GHI, and others.

After each session, we can provide you with a Superbill, which is a receipt containing the information your insurance company may require to process reimbursement.

If you are interested in using out-of-network benefits, we encourage you to discuss this during your consultation call with one of our therapists. We can provide the necessary information to help you contact your insurance company and determine whether your plan offers reimbursement and what your potential reimbursement rate may be before your first session.

Initial Intake Session

The initial intake session is our first opportunity to connect. We will spend time discussing your background, current challenges, and what you hope to gain from therapy. This helps us establish a strong therapeutic foundation and begin shaping a treatment plan tailored to your goals and needs.

Children/Teens/Adults: $200

Individual Therapy Sessions

Our therapists offer individual therapy sessions tailored to each client’s specific needs. Weekly and bi-weekly sessions are available at your convenience.

Adults (45-minute Creative Arts Therapy): $175

Children/Teen (45-minute Creative Arts Therapy): $185

Sliding Scale for financial need: $125-165 **

Group Therapy Sessions

Find new ways to express your emotions, tell your story, and connect with others with similar experiences to find hope in our community and for the future.

Adults: $50-$100

Children/Teens: $125/per session or $100/session for 8 group series.

At Creative Art Therapy Place, we believe therapy should be as accessible as possible. When there is demonstrated financial need and therapist availability, we may be able to offer sliding scale rates to help make sessions more affordable.

In some cases, we can also help you review your out-of-network insurance reimbursement benefits to estimate what portion of the session fee may be reimbursed. This can help us determine a more manageable overall cost for therapy.

Please note that sliding scale slots are limited and may not always be available.
