The Nest Building Workshop is a therapeutic interactive art installation where participants construct a human nest, their own safe space, to examine safety, mindfulness, and community. To help process the experience, other therapeutic art interventions such as Art Therapy, Music Therapy events are offered.
With this initial launch, we hope to develop our human nest-building project to be used with the immigrant population (survivors!) in New York City, sexual violence survivors, and more! We are thrilled to develop this art project and social initiative with the community and collaborators.
